TANGS Chinese New Year feature

I hold a love-hate relationship with the Chinese New Year festival.

As a child, it was an occasion to embrace Yeo's packet drinks and fizzy pop soda drinks like 7-UP. When I was a student, it meant a lot of questions about my studies and what I was doing with my free time. Now, it means I face a panel filled with relatives with queries about my work and when I intend to buy a new car, a new flat and get married.

Those things I hate. But what I love is the opportunity to buy new items for my wardrobe and a chance to catch up with family and friends.

We swept through the beautiful clothes in TANGS and came up with a round-up of clothes for Chinese New Year that can withstand the criticism of naggy grandmothers and keep the relatives happy:


1. T.S. Cream Floral dress, $129
This dress was picked for its soft beige tones and blooming peony print. There is nothing more alluring for Chinese New Year than a beautiful floral print, to celebrate the coming of Spring and the fresh slate of a new year. The cut is modest and flattering for the figure, while the blooming florals of the dress adds youth and vibrance to the wearer.



2. Martina Pink Floral Skirt $129 & Martina Pink cardigan with pearl buttons $89
